Fixed-Time Consensus Tracking of Second-Order Multi-Agent Systems with Bounded Disturbances

Abstract:
ABSTRACT This paper investigates the fixed-time consensus tracking problem of second-order multi-agent systems with bounded disturbances. Suppose that the communication topology is described by a weighted undirected graph. A novel nonlinear control protocol is proposed to solve the fixed-time consensus tracking problem of second-order multi-agent systems with the help of sliding mode technique and the sufficient conditions are obtained by theoretical analysis. Furthermore, the designed protocol can be robust against bounded disturbances influencing the agents and the upper bound of settling time can be estimated in advance without relying on initial conditions. Finally, some numerical examples are provided to verify the performance and effectiveness of the designed protocol.
